# Protocol

The emission system is designed as the main feature of the $POV token. It allows a protocol to take shape around it as actors and systems compete for its shares. The main actors are subdivided into: model and agent creators, infrastructure and data providers and the solely AI consumer user. All users can participate to various degrees in any of these roles, shaping the future of the protocol together through governance.
